On Wednesday, March 16, 2022, at approximately 1458 hours, police responded to a 911 call of shots fired at E. 172nd Street and Harrod Avenue, within the confines of the 43rd Precinct in the Bronx.
Upon arrival, officers observed an unidentified male with gunshot wounds to the right shoulder, right side of chest, both arms, left lower abdomen and both legs.
EMS responded and transported the aided 18-year-old male to NYC Health + Hospitals / Jacobi, where he was pronounced deceased.
Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as indicated.
