Cops arrested a Bronx man on Friday in connection with the sexual assault of an 82-year-old woman in Rutgers Houses.
Mott Haven resident, David Alexander, 29, currently faces charges of felony assault, burglary, sexual abuse and restriction of breathing.
He is accused of walking into the victim’s unlocked apartment at about 1800 hours last Tuesday. Alexander allegedly grabbed the woman by the neck, groped one of her breasts, while fondling his genitals.
Investigators found pictures of the incident on Alexander’s phone.
An anonymous tip from a person who saw his surveillance pictures ultimately led to the arrest.
The investigation remains ongoing.
All charges are merely accusations and all defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
