On Friday, February 8, 2019 at 1327 hours, police responded to a 911 call of a male shot at the intersection of E. 156 Street and Westchester Avenue, in the confines of the 40 Precinct in Bronx.
Upon arrival, officers discovered a 19 year old male with multiple gunshot wounds to his back. EMS responded and transported the male to Lincoln Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased. There are no arrests and the investigation is ongoing. Identification of the victim is pending proper family notification.
