On Saturday, August 29, 2020, at approximately 0330 hours, police responded to a male shot in front of 1133 Boston Road within the confines of the 42nd Precinct in the Bronx.
Upon arrival, police discovered a 34-year-old male, unconscious and unresponsive, with a gunshot wound to his leg and a 54-year-old male with a graze wound to the ankle.
EMS responded and transported the 34-year-old male to NYC Health + Hospitals / Lincoln where he was pronounced deceased.
The 54-year-old male was transported to St. Barnabas Hospital in stable condition.
Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as indicated.

On Tuesday, September 15, 2020, the following 31-year-old-male individual was arrested in regard to the above homicide.

Charges:
- murder;
- manslaughter;
- criminal possession of a weapon.
The investigation remains ongoing.
All charges are merely accusations and all defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
