On Tuesday, April 15, 2025, at approximately 2253 hours, police responded to a 911 call of a male, shot opposite 1988 Clinton Avenue, within the confines of the 48th Precinct in the Bronx.
Upon arrival, officers observed a 34-year-old male, unconscious and unresponsive with a gunshot wound to the head.
EMS responded and transported the aided male to St. Barnabas Hospital in critical condition, where he was later pronounced deceased.
Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as indicated.

There have been no arrests made and the investigation remains ongoing.
