The African Women Power (AWP) Network, announced today that it will develop and stage a series of FREE business education webinars developed exclusively for African women and youths who want to be entrepreneurs.
AWP touted for its unique ability to turn dreams into reality, carries out its mission via a blog that provides inspirational entrepreneurial stories of African women and youths, and promotes the “I can do” mentality.
On Saturday, July 21, 2012, from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. (West African Time), or 8 a.m. – 9 a.m. (EST) AWP will kick off its first business education webinar with Nokia West Africa Account Manager, Kola Osinowo. The webinar entitled “Learn how your Mobile Phone can turn you into the next BIG entrepreneur” will teach entrepreneurs how mobile technology can help them move their business ideas forward.

About Kolawole Osinowo: Kolawole Osinowo is an IT Professional with over eight (8) years of experience in Software Engineering, Web Development, Mobile Technology, Service Management, Digital Marketing, Retail Sales, Strategic Account , Management Consultancy and Training. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Computer Engineering. He is currently in a senior account management role at Nokia and is responsible for co-creating disruptive initiatives with the Biggest Mobile Operator in Africa. Kola has been recognized by JCI with the International Training Fellow award. He is a Certified World Bank Institute Social Innovator and was recently selected as a Crans Montana New Leader. In 2008 and 2010 he was nominated as “Professional of the Year” at the Future Nigeria Awards.
