Police are looking for a Bronx robbery suspect who they say pretended to be an officer.

Police say the man entered a BP gas station on Conner Street in the Eastchester section of Bronx on November 27, 2014 and told the attendant he was a police officer.

According to police, the suspect then simulated that he had a weapon on his waist and tried to handcuff the attendant.

The attendant was able to break free and call police.

They say the suspect stole about $300 before he ran away.

Anyone with information on the case should contact the NYPD Crime Stoppers hotline at 1800577TIPS, or text CRIMES and then enter TIP577, or visit NYPDCrimestoppers.com.

All calls are strictly confidential.
