We would like to invite you all to the 2017 International Coastal Cleanup this Saturday, September 16th at Soundview Park. The worldwide event is happening right here in Bronx and is being hosted by REI, the Bronx River Alliance and Friends of Soundview Park.
Together, volunteers from Bronx and beyond will join our crew leaders to help clean and beautify the shoreline of the Bronx River’s estuary, which opens up to the Long Island Sound.
The event will begin at 9 a.m. at the park entrance at the corner of Lafayette Ave & Morrison Avenue.
