A tractor-trailer that spilled 20 tons of frozen chicken on a Bronx street turned out to be good news today for residents.

The incident occurred this afternoon when the truck clipped a barrier at East 176^th Street and Crotona Avenue.

Because of the warm temperature and the spilled frozen cargo, officials handed out handfuls of free chicken to residents.
