A Bronx man was indicted by a Freehold, NJ grand jury last week on charges he used fake identification documents to steal $500 from a Bradley Beach, NJ bank.
According to the indictment signed by county Prosectutor Peter E. Warshaw Jr. on May 3, 2012, Anthony Rodriguez, 33, faces four counts in Superior Court following a January incident in which authorities allege he used a fake drivers license and credit card to withdraw cash, which belonged to a victim referred to only as “H.W.” from Chase Bank in the borough.
Three other Bronx men were also charged with obstructing the administration of law during the investigation.
Rodriguez is charged with theft by deception, uttering a simulated document, possession of a simulated document, and uttering a forged instrument. All are third-degree crimes.
The Bronx trio Jency Diaz, 21, Ricardo Perez, 24, and Josue Martinez, 21, face fourth-degree obstructing the administration of law or other governmental function.
