Today, The Bronx is Reading founder Saraciea Fennell announced the fourth annual Bronx Book Festival kickoff party, Bookish in the Bronx. This year’s kickoff festivities will take place at the Andrew Freedman Home on Grand Concourse from 05:00 p.m. – 07:00 p.m. The festival will be honoring Mover & Shaker Rina Madhani as well as announcing this year’s Bronx Poet Laureate! Limited in-person tickets are available for RSVP and attendees can also tune in virtually.
This weekend’s virtual programming includes the inaugural Educator Day, taking place today, Friday, June 11, 2021, as well as our consumer days on Saturday and Sunday, June 12-13, 2021, featuring Adult Lit and Kid Lit panels.
