On Saturday, August 10, 2024, at approximately 2112 hours, police responded to a 911 call of an aided child at a residential address on Eagle Avenue, within the confines of the 40th Precinct in the Bronx.
Upon arrival, officers observed an unconscious and unresponsive 4-month-old male.
EMS responded and transported the aided to NYC Health + Hospitals / Lincoln, where he was pronounced deceased.
There were no visible signs of trauma.
Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as indicated.

On Thursday, November 13, 2024, the New York City Office of Chief Medical Examiner (OCME) deemed the manner of death as a homicide.
There have been no arrests made and the investigation remains ongoing.
