On Wednesday, December 22, 2021, at approximately 0542 hours, police responded to a 911 call of shots, fired in front of 390 E. 162nd Street, within the confines of the 42nd Precinct in the Bronx.
Upon arrival, officers observed a 45-year-old male, unconscious and unresponsive, with a gunshot wound to the head, within the rear passenger seat of a Nissan SUV.
EMS responded to the location and pronounced the male victim deceased at the scene.
Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as indicated.

There have been no arrests made and the investigation remains ongoing.
