On Monday, May 31, 2021, at approximately 2230 hours, police responded to a 911 call of persons, shot at the corner of Lexington Avenue and E. 123rd Street, within the confines of the 25th Precinct in Manhattan.
Upon arrival, officers at the scene observed two male victims, each with gunshot wounds to the body.
EMS responded to the location and transported both victims to NYC Health + Hospitals / Harlem.
Victim #1, a 15-year-old male, sustained gunshot wounds to the torso, and was pronounced deceased upon arrival.
Victim #2, a 30-year-male, sustained a gunshot wound to the right knee, and was transported by EMS in stable condition.
Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as indicated.
