On Monday, June 17, 2024, at approximately 2108 hours, police responded to a 911 call of a male, shot in the vicinity of E. 162nd Street, within the confines of the 42nd Precinct in the Bronx.
Upon arrival, officers observed an unidentified male with a gunshot wound to the head.
EMS responded and transported the male to NYC Health + Hospitals / Lincoln in critical condition.
He was later pronounced deceased on Tuesday, June 18, 2024.
Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as indicated.

There have been no arrests made and the investigation remains ongoing.
