On Sunday, December 31, 2006, at approximately 0435 hours, police responded to a 911 call for a pedestrian, struck in the vicinity of Crescent Avenue and Belmont Avenue, within the confines of the 48th Precinct in the Bronx.
Upon arrival, it was reported to police that a 28-year-old male victim had a verbal dispute with an unidentified male. The unidentified individual then entered his vehicle, struck the victim with the vehicle, and fled the location.
EMS responded and transported the victim to St. Barnabas Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as indicated.

Pursuant to an ongoing investigation, the following individual was arrested and charged on Friday, December 13, 2024, at 1640 hours, within the confines of the 48th Precinct.

The investigation remains ongoing.
