On Wednesday, August 12, 2020, at approximately 1510 hours, police responded to a 911 call of aided male who was set on fire inside 1045 Woodycrest Avenue (5th floor), within the confines of the 44th Precinct in the Bronx.
Upon arrival, officers observed an 18-year-old male, unconscious with multiple stab wounds and burns about his body.
EMS responded to the location and transported the victim to NYC Health + Hospitals / Harlem, where he was pronounced deceased.
Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as indicated.

Pursuant to an ongoing investigation, the following 22-year-old male individual was arrested on August 13, 2020 at 1300 hours.

- manslaughter.
The investigation remains ongoing.
