On Sunday, May 16, 2021, at approximately 0031 hours, police responded to a 911 call of a male shot in front of 340 E. 184th Street, within the confines of the 46th Precinct in the Bronx.
Preliminary investigation revealed a 34-year-old male was shot in the abdomen during a dispute at that location.
The male was transported by private means to St. Barnabas Hospital, where he succumbed to his injury.
Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as indicated.

Pursuant to an ongoing investigation, a 16-year-old male individual, a Bronx resident, has been arrested and charged on Monday, June 07, 2021, at 0920 hours, within the confines of the 46 Precinct.
Charges:
- murder;
- manslaughter;
- criminal possession of a firearm;
- criminal possession of a weapon:oaded firearm (2 counts).
The investigation remains ongoing.
All charges are merely accusations and all defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
