Members of Cablevision’s Power to Learn, a multi-faceted initiative dedicated to integrating technology into education, were joined today at P.S. 109 Sedgwick School in the Bronx, NY, by Assemblywoman Vanessa Gibson in a student-led presentation on New York’s historic Radio City Music Hall.

“What a wonderful way for our children to celebrate the holiday season,” noted Assemblywoman Gibson. “Thanks to Cablevision, the students here today learned about the world-renowned Radio City Music Hall in an engaging way and were able to speak firsthand with one of the famed Rockettes. It was exciting and informative. I am sure these children will remember this interactive program for many years to come.”

Principal Amanda Blatter thanked Cablevision’s Power to Learn, noting, “We are very grateful to Cablevision for bringing this holiday program to our school – a program that made learning about a New York City landmark interesting and fun. The students were smiling the entire time and were totally focused. It was obvious every one of them enjoyed the program tremendously.”

“Cablevision’s Power to Learn is committed to providing students and their families with the best skills and opportunities for a successful future,” added Trent Anderson, Vice President of Education, Cablevision. “It’s important to provide schools with a diverse range of powerful tools including state-of-the-art technology that helps to engage and excite young minds. Today’s program about the renowned Radio City Music Hall truly brought the world into the classroom for these students.”
