On Wednesday, August 12, 2026, at approximately 1723 hours, New York City Police Department (NYPD) police officers responded to a 911 call of a person, shot inside of 2825 Claflin Avenue, within the confines of the 50th Precinct in the Bronx.
Upon arrival, officers observed a 15-year-old male with a gunshot wound to the head.
EMS responded and pronounced the victim deceased on scene.
An additional 13-year-old male victim was discovered with a gunshot graze wound to the torso.
EMS transported the second victim to St. Barnabas Hospital in stable condition.
Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as indicated.

There have been no arrests made and the investigation remains ongoing.
