Eric Aitken, 15, Murdered

On Saturday, December 27, 2025, at approximately 1825 hours, police responded to a 911 call of shots fired inside 1219 Adee Avenue, within the confines of the 49th Precinct in the Bronx.

Upon arrival, officers observed an unidentified male with a gunshot wound to the chest.

Additionally, officers located a 14-year-old male in front of 2909 Laconia Avenue, within the confines of the 49th Precinct, who had sustained a gunshot wound to the left arm.

EMS responded and transported the unidentified male to NYC Health + Hospitals / Jacobi in critical condition, where he was later pronounced deceased.

Police officers from the 49 Precinct transported the 14-year-old male in a marked RMP to NYC Health and Hospitals/Jacobi, where he was listed in stable condition.

Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as indicated.

There have been no arrests made and the investigation remains ongoing.
