A blaze at a block of row houses in Bronx Saturday afternoon injured 18 firefighters and two occupants, the city Fire Department said.

Two firefighters became trapped when the fire caused a wall in a multifamily home to collapse. They were rescued by fellow firefighters. None of the injuries were serious.

The four-alarm fire started shortly after 1:00 p.m. and was brought under control after about two hours at 3:45 p.m.

An FDNY spokesman said 168 firefighters responded.
