On Sunday, May 09, 2021, at approximately 0348 hours, police responded to a 911 call of a person, shot at 547 E. 184th Street, within the confines of the 48th Precinct in the Bronx.
Upon arrival, police determined the incident location to be nearby at 4555 3rd Avenue, where they observed a 30-year-old male, unconscious and unresponsive, with a gunshot wound to the head.
EMS also responded and transported the male to St. Barnabas Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased on Tuesday, May 11, 2021.
The incident has been deemed a homicide.
Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as indicated.

There have been no arrests made and the investigation remains ongoing.
