The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the male depicted in the attached photograph for an assault within the confines of the 45th Precinct in Bronx.
The following has been reported to police.
On Saturday, August 31, 2019, at approximately 0742 hours, the individual approached the 37-year-old male victim in front of 2430 E. Tremont Avenue where he brandished a firearm and shot the victim on both legs.
EMS responded and transported the victim to Jacobi Hospital in stable condition.
The individual is described as follows:
- male, medium complexion with dark colored braids;
- wearing a black t-shirt with a NIKE logo, gray sweat pants and black sneakers.
Pursuant to an ongoing investigation, the following 23-year-old male individual has been arrested and charged on Monday, February 24, 2020, at 1745 hours within the confines of the 45th Precinct.

The investigation remains ongoing.
All charges are merely accusations and all defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
