The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in ascertaining the whereabouts of an unidentified individual who is seen in the attached photos and is being sought in connection with a robbery within the confines of the 41 Precinct in Bronx / transit District 12.
Details are as follows.
It was reported to police that on Friday, February 8, 2019 at 2100 hours, inside of the Hunts Point Avenue Subway Station (#6 line), an 18 year old female victim was seated aboard a southbound #6 train. When the train entered the station, an unknown individual did approach and grab the victim by the wrist and removed her cell phone. The individual fled the station in an unknown direction. The phone had an estimated value of $1,000.
The individual is described as a male Hispanic, late teens or early 20’s in age, last seen wearing all dark clothing.
