The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in ascertaining the whereabouts of six (6) unidentified individuals who are seen in the attached PHTOS and are being sought in connection with a robbery within the confines of the 49 Precinct in Bronx.
Details are as follows.
It was reported to police that on Friday, February 8, 2019 at 1840 hours, in the vicinity of Garfield Street and Van Nest Avenue, a 15 year old male victim was approached by six unknown individuals and demanded his property. One of the individuals punched the victim about the face, and the remaining individuals removed the victim’s cell phone. The individuals fled west bound on Van Nest Avenue. The victim suffered a bruised lip but refused medical attention at the scene. The phone had an estimated value of $700.
