The brutal stabbing of 15-year-old Lesandro “Junior” Guzman-Feliz, who was killed on June 20th, has touch home for Bronx native, Cardi B.

The “I Like It” rapper donated $8,000 to the late teen’s family GoFundMe campaign after he was murdered outside of a bodega by five gang members. The gang later apologized saying that Junior was mistaken for someone who made a homemade sex video with one of their family members.

The donation appears on the page under Bardi’s real name, Belcalis Almanzar, and was donated on Sunday, June 24.

The hashtag #JusticeForJunior been trending since the situation happened. Cardi raised more awareness of the tragedy by reposting a picture of the boy with his mother, and a video of the mother thanking her for her generous donations.

Police have since arrested the five men connected to the murder and one of the suspects, 19-year-old Kevin Alvarez, has been charged with second-degree murder and gang assault.
