A preliminary investigation determined the 67-year-old operator of a Freightliner tractor trailer made a left turn onto Randall Ave from Coster Street, mounted the sidewalk and struck a utility pole at the location. The tractor trailer continued westbound on the sidewalk striking an occupied parked 2007 Dodge Caravan (vehicle #2) into the roadway, then subsequently struck an unoccupied 2000 Ford Pick-Up truck (vehicle #3) causing a chain reaction. The Ford truck struck an unoccupied parked 1999 Dodge Caravan (vehicle #4) which in turn struck an unoccupied parked 2012 Toyota Camry (vehicle #5). The front passenger of vehicle #2 was also removed to Lincoln Hospital in stable condition for neck and back pain.
