Red Cross assists 52 Bronx residents displaced by fires over four days.

Bussing Avenue Fire
Four Red Cross responders were on the scene to register 16 people (7 adults/9 children) for Red Cross services after a fire at 1743 Bussing Avenue on July 15. Of those 16 people, two families (5 adults/7 children) were provided with emergency funds for food and clothing, along with temporary housing.

Walton Ave. Fire
Red Cross relief workers registered 23 people (7 adults/16 children) for Red Cross services after a fire at 1920 Walton Avenue, a 6-story building, on July 16. Of those registered, Red Cross provided temporary housing and emergency funds for food and clothing to four families (6 adults/13 children) and provided emergency funds for one family.

Grand Concourse Fire
The Greater NY Chapter registered 9 people (8 adults/1 child) for Red Cross services after a fire at 2356 Grand Concourse on July 16, and provided one family of five with temporary housing, as well as emergency funds for food and clothing.

Morris Avenue 2-Alarm
After a 2-alarm fire at 1991 Morris Avenue on July 17, the Greater NY Chapter provided temporary housing and emergency funds to four families of four adults.

Those affected are expected meet one-on-one with Red Cross caseworkers in the coming days in order to receive further emergency services and support.
