The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the male depicted in the attached surveillance photos wanted for questioning in connection to an assault that occurred within the 40th Precinct in Bronx.

The details are as follows.

It was reported to the police that on Tuesday, September 24, 2019, at approximately 1445 hours, inside 2660 3rd Avenue (grocery / bodega), a 37-year-old male employee became involved in a dispute with an unidentified male. The male left the store, returned a short time later with a metal pipe and proceeded to assault the employee. The male fled the location in unknown direction.

The victim sustained a broken arm and laceration to the head. He was removed to NYC Health & Hospitals / Lincoln in stable condition.

Surveillance photographs of the suspect are attached and available at DCPI.
