Help Identify A Robbery Suspect

The New York City Police Department is asking the public’s assistance identifying the individual depicted in the attached surveillance photo in connection to a robbery pattern that contains three incidents and occurred within the confines of the 47 and 48 Precincts in Bronx.

Help Identify A Robbery Suspect

Details are as follows.

Incident #1: On Monday, December 24, 2018 at approximately 2307 hours, in the confines of the 47 Precinct, an unidentified male hailed a livery cab and requested to be taken to 1961 Schieffen Avenue. When approaching the location the man requested the driver stop at a nearby parking lot where he displayed a black handgun and demanded currency. The driver complied and gave the man approximately $100 cash. The male subsequently fled into 1159 East 229 street. There were no injuries incurred.

Incident #2: On Wednesday, December 26, 2018 at approximately 1805 hours, in the confines of the 47 Precinct, an unidentified male hailed a livery cab and requested to be taken to 1965 Schieffen Avenue. When approaching the location the man requested the driver stop at a nearby parking lot where he displayed a black handgun and demanded currency. The driver complied and gave the man approximately $100 cash. The male subsequently fled into 1159 East 229 street. There were no injuries incurred.

Incident #3: On Sunday, December 30, 2018 at approximately 1850 hours, in the confines of the 48 Precinct, an unidentified male hailed a livery cab at the intersection of Westchester Avenue and Southern Blvd then requested to be taken to 1900 Longfellow Avenue. Upon arrival at the location, the man displayed a black handgun and demanded currency from the driver. He removed $70 cash from the victim then fled the scene. There were no injuries incurred.

The unidentified individual is described as a male black, 20 to 30-years-old, dark complexion, muscular build, approximately 5’10” tall. He was last seen wearing a black bubble jacket, Chicago Bulls baseball cap, black sweatpants and red sneakers.
