The New York City Police Department is asking the public’s assistance identifying the unknown male individual, depicted in the attached surveillance photograph, who is wanted in connection to a robbery, that occurred within the confines of the 43rd Precinct in the Bronx.

Details are as follows.

It was reported to police that on Monday, March 01, 2021, at 1158 hours, in the vicinity of Havermeyer Avenue and Powell Avenue, a 33-year-old male US postal employee was attempting to deliver a package, when he was approached by an unknown male individual, who claimed to be the lawful recipient of the package being delivered.

When the individual was unable to provide proper identification, the postal employee returned to his vehicle with the package.

The individual followed the victim into his delivery truck and forcibly removed the package and fled the location in a dark vehicle.

The victim was not reported injured during this incident.

It is unknown what the package value was at the time of the report.
