The New York City Police Department is asking the public’s assistance identifying the individual, depicted in the attached surveillance photograph and video clip, who is wanted in connection to a robbery, that occurred within the confines of the 41st precinct in the Bronx.

Details are as follows.

It was reported to police that on Wednesday, January 06, 2021, at approximately 2327 hours, inside the lobby of 1018 Hoe Avenue, a 34-year-old male was walking up the stairs to his apartment when an unknown individual approached him from behind, displayed a silver and black handgun and stated, “Give me your money”.

The individual, in fear for his safety, gave the unknown individual his Aldo bag, containing $1,700 cash, an iPhone 12 Max, a Samsung Galaxy 8, a Samsung Tablet and AirPods.

The individual fled the location in an unknown direction, and there were no injuries reported.

The individual is described as an adult male, Black, with a medium build.

He was last seen wearing an all gray sweat suit with a black surgical mask.

A surveillance video clip and a photograph of the suspect are attached and available at DCPI.

The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers‘ website or by texting their tips to 274637 (CRIMES) then enter TIP577.
