The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the male depicted in the attached surveillance photo and video wanted for questioning in connection to a robbery that occurred within the confines of the 46th Precinct in Bronx.
Details are as follows.
It was reported to police that on Wednesday, March 13, 2019, at approximately 1740 hours, an unidentified male entered a bodega located at 1801 University Avenue and removed a beverage without paying. A 23-year-old male store employee attempted to stop the male, at which time he was slashed in the face with a box cutter. The male fled northbound on University Avenue. EMS transported the victim to St. Barnabas Hospital where he received 10 stitches to his left cheek.
The person wanted for questioning is described as a male Black, approximately 16-19 years of age, 5’7″, and 145 lbs.; last seen wearing a black jacket, blue jeans, and black sneakers.
