The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the individuals, depicted in the attached surveillance photographs and video clip, who are sought in connection with a robbery, which occurred within the confines of the 46th Precinct in the Bronx.
Details are as follows.
It was reported to police that on Sunday, June 06, 2021, at approximately 1530 hours, in front of 66 Burnside Avenue, a 35-year-old male victim was standing on the sidewalk at the location, buying ice cream for his 5-year-old son, when he was approached by two unidentified individuals, riding a motorcycle on the sidewalk.
The unidentified individuals grabbed the victim’s gold chain around his neck and dragged him along the sidewalk, while operating the motorcycle.
The individuals proceeded to forcibly remove the victim’s chain before fleeing eastbound on East Burnside Avenue on the motorcycle.
The victim sustained scrapes and bruising to his arms, legs, and neck and was treated at the scene by EMS.
