The New York City Police Department is asking the public’s assistance identifying the individual depicted in the attached surveillance photos in connection to a grand larceny that occurred within the confines of the 41 Precinct in Bronx.
Details are as follows.
It was reported to police that on Sunday, June 9, 2019, at 0950 hours, inside The Point Community Center located at 940 Garrison Avenue, a 53-year-old male victim placed his backpack containing $1000 cash on a chair. The victim, a community center staff worker, went into the office at which time an unknown individual entered the location and removed the unattended backpack from a chair before fleeing the location in an unknown direction.
The individual is described as a male, White, 25-30 years old, with a thin build and a full beard. He last seen wearing a black hooded pullover, a black baseball cap, grey sweatpants, a black backpack and black sneakers.
