The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the individuals and vehicle depicted in the attached photographs in connection to an attempted burglary within the confines of the 46 Precinct in Bronx.
The details are as follows.
It was reported to police that on Sunday, January 19, 2020, between 0436 hours and 0840 hours, inside of a residential building in the vicinity of W. 179th Street and Loring Place South, 5 individuals (4 males and 1 female) disabled the building’s surveillance system temporarily before they attempted to force open the 56-year-old male victim’s apartment door numerous times throughout the morning.
The individuals were unsuccessful and fled the scene inside of a dark colored mini-van southbound on W. 179 Street.
