The New York City Police Department (NYPD) is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the individual, depicted in the attached surveillance media, wanted in connection with a homicide, that occurred within the confines of the 52nd Precinct in the Bronx.

Details are as follows.

On Wednesday, July 31, 2024, at approximately 1337 hours, police responded to a 911 call of a male, stabbed at 2448 University Avenue, located within the confines of the 52nd precinct in the Bronx.

Upon arrival, officers observed a 34-year-old male with a stab wound to the chest, inside of the location.

The victim was transported by EMS to St. Barnabas Hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased.

The sought individual is described as a male with a medium-dark skin complexion, a slim build, and braids.

He was last seen wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, a tan t-shirt, and white-and- black sneakers.

He was last seen going northbound on University Avenue on foot to parts unknown.

Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as indicated.
