“Compound” is defined as a thing that is composed of two or more separate elements; a mixture. The concept of Dragon76’s art style is the “coexistence” of two opposites.
On June 12th, 2019 from 07:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., Compound Gallery will host an opening reception to kick-off Dragon76’s solo exhibition titled “Coexist”.
Born in Shiga, Japan, Dragon76’s artwork is heavily based on street art, with passion and energy. “It touches our soul” and constantly evolving.
The concept of his art style is the “coexistence” of two opposites such as past and future, stillness and motion, evil and justice; which caught the eye of gallery founder, set free and quickly connected the two.
Compound will host a show exhibiting Dragon76’s art work both new and old, along with a live mural installation displaying his progressive artistic style on the outside walls of the gallery in Bronx.
