A 22-year-man has died in the Bronx after he was shot in the head and chest.

Police from the 43^rd Precinct in southeast Bronx answered a 911 call around 4:30 a.m. Sunday on Castle Hill Avenue.

There was no immediate arrest.

The victim was pronounced dead at Jacobi hospital.

His name was withheld until his family could be notified.
