It was reported to the New York City Police Department (NYPD) that on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, at approximately 1344 hours, inside of 1006 Longfellow Avenue, an unidentified individual stabbed a 64-year-old male victim in the torso with a knife.

The unidentified individual then fled on foot to parts unknown.

EMS responded to the location and pronounced the victim deceased on the scene.

Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as indicated.

There have been no arrests made and the investigation remains ongoing.
