The New York City Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in locating the following person, who was reported missing from within the confines of the 114th Precinct in Queens.
Details are as follows.

Nicolas Lopez
4-21 27th Avenue
Queens, NY 11102
It was reported to the police that Nicolas Lopez was last seen Thursday, July 15, 2021, at approximately 1800 hours, leaving his residence.
The missing is described as a 35-year-old male, Hispanic, approximately 5’10” tall, weighing 280 lbs., with brown eyes and black hair.
He was last seen wearing a light blue sweatshirt and tan pants with no shoes.
On Friday, July 16, 2021, at approximately 0823 hours, police responded to a 911 call of a floater in the East River near Governors Island, within the confines of the 1st Precinct in Manhattan.
EMS responded and pronounced the unidentified at the time male floating in the water and removed from the water by NYPD Harbor Units.
The Medical Examiner will determine the cause of death.
Pursuant to an ongoing investigation the deceased was identified as Nicolas Lopez.
There have been no arrests made and the investigation remains ongoing.
