On Saturday June 22, 2019, at approximately 0056 hours, police responded to a fight in progress in the vicinity of E. 169 Street and Prospect Avenue, in the 42 Precinct in Bronx.
Upon arrival, the officers encountered an unconscious and unresponsive 40-year-old male laying on the street with no visible signs of trauma.
EMS also responded to the scene and transported the male to Lincoln Hospital where he was pronounced deceased. The Medical Examiner will determine the cause of death.

The following 34-year-old male individual has been arrested and charged in regard to the above-described incident on September 25, 2019.

Following ongoing police investigation, the above-described incident has been ruled a homicide on September 27, 2019.
The investigation remains ongoing.
All charges are merely accusations and all defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
