On Tuesday, December 29, 2020, at 2050 hours, police responded to a 911 call of an assault in progress in the vicinity of W. 184th Street and Aqueduct Avenue, within the confines of the 52nd Precinct in the Bronx.
Upon arrival, officers discovered a 26-year-old lying on the ground with gunshot wounds to his chest and neck.
EMS responded and transported the male to St. Barnabas hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as indicated.

Pursuant to an ongoing investigation, the following 33-year-old male individual has been arrested and charged on Monday, March 01, 2021, at 2000 hours, within the confines of the 52nd Precinct.

- manslaughter;
- criminal possession of a weapon: loaded firearm.
The investigation remains ongoing.
