The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the person of interest depicted in the attached photographs in connection to an assault that occurred within the confines of the 45th Precinct in the Bronx.

Details are as follows.

It was reported to police that on Sunday, February 23, 2020, at approximately 0508 hours, inside of a northbound Q44 MTA bus, the individual slashed the 20-year-old male victim in the face with an unknown sharp object following a dispute.

The male walked off the bus at Brush Avenue and Bruckner Boulevard; he fled on foot in an unknown direction.

The victim suffered a laceration to his left cheek and was treated at NYC Health and Hospitals / Jacobi.

The individual is described as a male, approximately 30 to 35 years old, with a beard and mustache; last seen wearing a multi-colored hooded sweater, a black jacket, dark colored pants and red and white sneakers.
