The New York City Police Department is asking the public’s assistance identifying the following individual, depicted in the attached surveillance photograph and video clip, who is wanted in connection to an assault, that occurred within the confines of the 42nd Precinct in the Bronx.
Details are as follows.
It was reported to police that on Thursday, February 25, 2021, at approximately 1800 hours, inside a playground at the rear of 968 Cauldwell Avenue, the victim and a known individual engaged in a verbal dispute, that escalated into a physical confrontation.
The individual stabbed the victim one time in the torso with an sharp object before fleeing the scene in an unknown direction.
EMS responded to the location and transported the victim to NYC Health + Hospitals / Lincoln, where he is listed in stable condition.
The individual, known by the name “Donovan”, is as described as an adult male, approximately 175 lbs., with a dark complexion and black close cut hair.
He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweat shirt with white lettering on the front, black pants and grey sneakers.
