The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in ascertaining the whereabouts of the individual, seen in the attached surveillance photograph, who is wanted in connection to a robbery, which occurred within the confines of the 48th Precinct in the Bronx.
Details are as follows.
It was reported to police that on Wednesday, July 28, 2021, at approximately 2000 hours, a 34-year-old male victim was approached by an unknown male individual, who he had arranged to meet to exchange goods in front of 997 E. 179th Street.
The individual proceeded to display a firearm and remove jeans and a pair of sneakers from the victim, valued at $600.
The individual fled northbound on E. 179th Street.
There were no injuries reported as a result of this incident.
The individual is described as a dark-skinned male, 18-19 years of age, approximately 5’09” tall, weighing 150 lbs.
He was last seen wearing a white tank top, blue and white shorts and white sneakers.
