The New York City Police Department is asking the public’s assistance identifying the individual depicted in the attached surveillance photos in connection to a robbery that occurred within the confines of the 44 Precinct in Bronx.
Details are as follows.
It was reported to police that on Sunday, August 18, 2019 at 1310 hours, opposite of 1128 Findlay Avenue, a 39-year-old male victim was talking on his cell phone when an unknown individual approached him from behind, punched the back of his head and forcibly removed his Apple iPhone, before fleeing to an unknown location. The victim refused medical attention.
The individual is described as a male, Hispanic, 18 to 20-years-old, medium complexion, with a slim build and curly dark hair. He was last seen wearing a white t-shirt, brown shorts and black sneakers.
