The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the individual, depicted in the attached surveillance photograph and video clip, who is wanted in connection to a burglary, which occurred within the confines of the 44th Precinct in the Bronx.
Details are as follows.
It was reported to police that on Tuesday, February 24, 2021, at approximately 0230 hours, inside of 1240 Gerard Avenue, an unknown male individual gained entry to the location through the front window.
Once inside, the individual removed a bag of tools and a digital thermometer, valued at approximately $1,000.
The individual fled, on foot, through the rear door of the building in an unknown direction.
There were no injuries reported as a result of this incident.
The individual is described as a dark-skinned male approximately 50-60 years old.
