Detectives fetched a Bronx man in the borough on Wednesday after police connected him to the 2008 burglary of a Stewart’s on Washington Avenue.

Police said Sean Jackson, 38 of 875 Morrison Avenue, Bronx, NY 10473, broke the front window of the Stewart’s and stole a dozen packs of cigarettes on December 24, 2008.

Jackson was connected to the crime after his DNA matched blood left on the broken window and taken from the scene by Albany forensic detectives. His DNA was entered in a state database after he was convicted of two unrelated felonies, police said.

Jackson was arrested by Albany detectives on an Albany City Court arrest warrant served in Bronx and was brought back to Albany. He was charged with third-degree burglary and third-degree criminal mischief and was arraigned at Albany City Court.
